The 36th Annual National Shrimp Festival was held October 11, 12, 13, & 14th. 2007 was a record breaker with around 300,000 visitors over the 4 days. Wow, was it busy and the weather was fantastic! Click on the Chamber website above for festival information. It's always a great time to visit our beautiful, sugar-white shores and the Wheel House for some great food! Whenever you visit Gulf Shores stop in for lunch or some quick take-out and head down to the beach to enjoy a beautiful sunset We are also looking forward to an early snow bird season so we can see some of our friends from last year...like Roy and Betty from Minnesota...Raulo & Lois...Don & Phyllis...Betty & Bob...Mr. Carl...
